Terms of engagement

Model Vertex Point (“we”, “us”) is the professional practice operating from 1 10 Jln Ss15/4B Ss15 Petaling Jaya,Petaling Jaya,Selangor,47500,Malaysia. By requesting work, paying a deposit, or using this website, you accept these terms. If you commission work for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The work

We provide professional reading and writing about model usage in a named AI-assisted app: inventories, reconstructions of agreed log windows, gap lists, walkthroughs, and briefings. We do not sell software, host your application, process payments for third parties, or take operational control of your systems. Written estimates and these terms together form the engagement. If they conflict, the estimate’s scope description prevails for that engagement only.

Your materials and access

You remain responsible for lawful access to logs, traces, invoices, and sitting sessions. You must not send us personal data you are not entitled to share. Redaction is your obligation unless we have agreed in writing to redaction as part of the fee. If access is withdrawn mid-engagement, we stop and bill for time already spent, as described on the refund page.

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your logs, product, and prompts. We keep ownership of our methods, templates, and prior knowledge. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the delivered report, inventory, and one-page records inside your organisation, including with your contractors under confidentiality. You may not resell the report or present it as your own independent work. Journal articles on this site remain ours.

Confidentiality

We treat non-public materials you share as confidential and use them only to perform the engagement, unless disclosure is required by Malaysian law. We may describe anonymised patterns in our journal (for example, “a nightly job that re-summarised unchanged records”) without naming you, unless you object in writing before the walkthrough.

No professional advice beyond scope

Reports are usage pictures, not legal advice, security assessments, financial audits, or a warranty about model quality, cost, or fitness. Decisions you take after reading a report remain yours.

Liability

We perform the work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue, or loss of data in your systems. Our aggregate liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where Malaysian law does not permit a limitation (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). You should keep copies of anything you send us.

Website

This website is informational. Rates are starting figures, not offers capable of immediate acceptance. Forms submit to a mock endpoint for demonstration of validation; a confirmed engagement still requires our written estimate and your acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Selangor and, where applicable, the courts of Kuala Lumpur have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer under Malaysian law.

Changes
